My Best Friend’s Wedding

If you thought it was hard to be a bridesmaid in your best friend’s wedding, picture being a bridesmaid AND the photographer at your best friend’s wedding.  Though it seems a bit crazy, Jenna and Stephen knew I would have my camera on me at all time anyway, so it made sense.  Their engagement lasted only about 4 months before they tied the knot and thanks to Jenna’s hectic and hard planning from their home on the West Coast, the night was a huge success and a blast to be a part of.

Caught peeking…
Leaving the church to paper airplanes for the Navy Pilot (not an easy nigh-before-the-wedding task to fold all of them I might add…)
It’s not a wedding without a prom pose photo with friends.
In lieu of throwing the bouquet, Jenna dedicated hers to her mom to show her how beautiful their relationship.
As is common at some weddings, the DJ called all of the married couples to the dance floor.  The couples were whittled down based on how many years they have been married.  In the end at this wedding, the last 5 couples (those who had been married the longest) got to cut a cake and feed each other, like on their own wedding day years ago.

The Greene Family

The Greene family was vacationing in Hull, Ma and asked me to take their family portrait.  Little did I know that when they said they got a house on the beach, they meant the entire extended family was there as well.  Needless to say, we had a small paparazzi following us around on the shoot with their ipads and iphones, but it made things that much more easy- going and fun.  The smiles were never fake and the laughter kept up the whole time.  It’s sessions like these that make my job worth it!

The Cullen Family

There’s nothing better than shooting a group of people who know exactly what to do in front of the camera.  The Cullens were just those kinds of people and they certainly made my job easier!
